QUESTION: How can an instructor candidate become certified in multiple disciplines during the same period?

ANSWER: The presentation of Instructor Techniques during the morning of the first day is identical for all three courses. During the remaining 2.5 days, instructor candidates simply make their presentations from any or all course manuals in which they will be certified.

Each course requires individual a separate registration. Tuition for the first registration is $495. The second instructor certification by the same student is only $295.00. If a third instructor certification is requested, the third registration is only $195.

Although not required by NECI, some states require certification in the basic course in which they are becoming certified as an instructor. You should check with your state board for 9-1-1 and EMD certification.

The course objectives for the instructor candidate include:
  • Understanding the adult learner
  • Instructor techniques
  • Preparation from a lesson plan outline
  • Presentation from a media projector
